You Can Have Anything You Want In Your Business, Just Not Everything
Should I start dressing like Mark Zuckerberg? It’s a real possibility. It’s not that I believe gray t-shirts look particularly good on me and I DEFINITELY don’t believe they’re the key to his massive success. But it would save me anywhere from 10 to, oh, 30 minutes of hemming and hawing every morning (these blog videos are forever, you know!)—and we ALL need more time in our day, right? But before you go out and buy a full rack of black turtlenecks à la Steve Jobs, let’s talk about how you can really find more hours in the day. Seriously.
Build an Audience
Direct response marketing is gold, right? You make an offer and get a result. If it works, you do more of it. If it doesn’t work, you tweak the offer and do it again, until you get results. But, if you’re only focusing on direct response marketing, you’re missing something. In fact, you may be guilty of some very short-term thinking that could endanger your business in the long run.
