I’ll never forget my first webinar. I was still working for Tony Robbins and my colleague Amy and I had set everything up and promoted it. Of course, it sold out in less than 30 minutes. However, 5 minutes before the webinar was set to begin, we accidentally hit the “cancel” button and deleted Tony’s ENTIRE webinar, as well as all the registrants. It was good times, as you can imagine! ?
The good news is that I’ve gotten a lot better at webinars since that time. And, given that webinars account for about 71% of my revenue, they’ve become a vital part of my business strategy.
Of course, this doesn’t mean I still don’t make mistakes. So in this week’s blog I thought I’d share my most recent rash of epic webinar fails…and most important, the solutions to each of them so that they don’t happen to you.
Don’t forget to leave a comment below, and feel free to share a fail of your own (and the solution) so that we can all learn from it, too!

I feel your pain Pam, as I have been through many failed webinars.
But the best thing is that I didn’t give up and learned from each experience.
I’d make sure the last problem wasn’t going to be the next one and have hopefully learnt from enough mistakes to provide a full and financially rewarding event not just for myself but also for those attending.

All great tips on things to watch out for when doing Webinars. and the last tip, just get up and start doing. Starting to do more live FB broadcasts with my audience and the next is to add in the webinar. The one I did last week went very well and an another one coming up this week. I find it is hard sometimes getting the mindset of live broadcasting. Getting easier but there is a ramp up period to going live. It is like you have to go into character to broadcast. so far the response has been great

I have three dogs. When a rabbit or squirrel is in the back yard, they all go nuts and bark. This is extremely disruptive and unprofessional when I am conducting a webinar.
Sometimes the easiest solutions evade us. One day I figured out a really simple solution to this. I closed the blinds so they could not see outside during my webinar! Voila! No more barking!!!!
