The holidays are upon us, and I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a mix of excitement . . . and stress!
I don’t think I’m alone: I already received an email about having a “meltdown-free holiday.” (!) And a holiday poll I stumbled on by Think Finance says 45 percent of those surveyed would prefer to skip the holidays altogether.
So how do you break through the negative stacking, and turn a holiday pity party into something proactive?
I’ve got one exercise for you that can teach you how to break through the stress this season and build on your strengths, bringing you a sense of clarity, and ultimately, gratitude. This is an exercise that can benefit your personal life—and can help you home in on the assets you bring to your business as well.
Make sure to leave me a comment below the video to let me know what you discover through this quick exercise.

Hey Derek, Nice to hear from you! I love the Heartmath work as we worked with that content quite a bit when I was at Tony Robbins. Entraining heart-based living is a great way to be in the business of giving! 🙂

Pam:
The balance sheet reminded me that I have access to a network of individuals (e.g. Tony Robbins, yourself, etc.) through their writings, etc. to assist in personal development whether I am able to work with them directly or not.

So true, Tim. One of the most powerful times of my life was early on when I’d get up every morning, go for a 3 mile walk and listen to Tony Robbins Personal Power (cassettes, ha!) and PowerTalk! program. It felt like a very personal relationship even though I had never met him!

Happy Thanksgiving Pam.
Thank you for this powerful video and message. Holiday time is powerful for getting us to doubt ourselves. Your message is one we all need to pay attention to and believe our assets outweigh our liabilities.
I would be thrilled if you would be a guest on my podcast, and share your Biz story. If you say “yes” email me at charlotte@BizStoriesShared.com and I will send you the “Podcast Info Kit”. I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Charlotte

It is a great story, Pam. Thanks for shedding light on how to shift the mindset to what will support us not reduce us. Simple exercise but really very powerful. Thank you!

Pam
First, Happy Thanksgiving to you, Chris and the boys.
Gratitude is the fastest way to go from living in fear to living in faith. For more than 13 years now I have kept a ‘Gratitude Journal’, a simple list of at least 5 things (or more) that I write out during my daily Quiet Time. I’m convinced that that one exercise sets me up for a day where I am conscious of the many blessings I already have in my life. Over time, it looks to me like a list of answered prayers. I’m convinced that doing this on a daily basis has changed my life.
Thanks for offering this piece (peace) at this time of year.

Also, thank you for your advice and response to my comment on one of your previous blogs. It gave me a lot to think about and helped me put together my next installment video. I wanted to share it with you (it’s short)and thanks again!

Thank you for the timely and wise reminder. I always enjoy your posts and wisdom. Like you, I am a busy mom, author and entrepreneur. It’s so easy to get caught up with efforts to move forward and accomplish more in less time that I lose sight of the many blessings in my life. I forget to take time to reflect and celebrate all that is “right”. Thanks to you, I am smiling right now thinking of this instead of my “to do” list. Cheers to you and yours for a wonderful holiday season.
