I have committed many mistakes as a content marketer—I feel like I have my own version of the 7 Deadly Sins! Bad messaging. Poor targeting. Overwhelming my audience.
But when it comes to my biggest vice—it’s really none of these things. And it’s something that has robbed me of time, resources AND money.
Check out that big lesson in my latest video below. I’ll also give you my 3 big laws for creating kick ass content that gets results, for any genre or audience.

Great video, as always, Pam.
Love all your new content and teaching in Content Crash Course and the direction you are taking.

Thanks much Sue! I’ve made a LOT of mistakes over the years (many at the cost of my sanity) so it’s been exciting to share these principles as they are things any business owner can do. Keep me posted on your progress!

Loved the video Pam. I fell into the trap again (why why why) on spending too much time on content creation rather than on the marketing. I know it but why can’t I do it. I should know better – thank you for the reminder. This was a whack in the head (in a loving way). I look forward to the webinar!!

Great Irene! The secret is you should almost feel a little bit uncomfortable with how much you’re promoting a piece of content. And remember, the content is ADDING value so that should take away any weirdness there. Thanks for your share -look forward to seeing you on the livecast!

Hi Pam,
I cannot express enough how encouraging this video was to me along with the 7 mistakes slideshare. It has been 3 years since joining MML 2.0 . I spent too much time in planning than in execution but I believe it will all be worth it for my target audience. I discovered that starting with a how to book turned into a show me how then help me perform the how…. thanks again.

Andrew Carnegie said that he believes the Q.Q.S is the right way of doing things.
The first Q is quality, the second Q is quantity, but more important is the S this is the spirit in which you deliver the quality, in fact it is the most, and best procedure that has ever been used.
I have written in my book of this process-“Thoughts and Squawks”
Some people say don’t go for shiny objects, but if that will light up each side of our roads with continuous light without electricity, batteries or bulbs, then go for it. roadlites@gmail.com

Really enjoy the rich info you provide in your videos, Pam. I think I have the opposite problem I spend a lot of time promoting small pieces of content and then promote 80% of my time – HOWEVER, I never finish my solid programs as I am consistently trying to find that “magic content” in order to best meet the needs of my audience. Think there is a bit of fear of rejection behind this. Consequently, I am making no income as I all I have are freebies to give away. Any thoughts?
