It happens every time: When I’m fresh from an event—even my own!—I leave absolutely pulsating with ideas, tips and tools. This past weekend’s Make Market Launch IT LIVE! event was no exception.
In this case of today’s blog, I got inspired by one of our attendees who joined Mike Koenigs and me on stage for one of our Hot Seat coaching segments. He said he was doing well in his business but was looking for some tweaks that would improve his sales. I thought it was a really smart request, so I wanted to sit down and quickly record my top 7 conversion hacks for you.
In the video, you’ll discover 7 simple, yet effective actions you can take to influence your conversions and sales right now. Each of these are tips I’ve used to boost results in my own business, and I can’t wait to hear how they work for you.
One more tip: Don’t even think about trying these all at the same time! 🙂 Find one that intrigues you, test it with your audience, then once you get a handle on your results, add another strategy into the mix.
Make sure to leave me a comment below the video! I’d love to know which you decide to use first.

Great ideas for boosting conversions and gaining insight Pam. There is one more thing that your team has not yet tested and I think you’re going to love it esp. given your preference for using opt-in gates to access PDFs.

Many thanks for these interesting ideas. I guess that social proof/testimonials, adding images and trust seals will work as well over here in Germany. I will focus the testimonials and social proof first, since there is almost nothing more convincing than a “third voice” who speaks in one’s favor.

Great! Yes Andreas, these strategies work internationally as they are based on human psychology! I would think especially in Germany, where things are so wonderfully precise, they would be particularly effective.

Thanks Pam
I enjoyed all of the steps and I plan to try each of them out.

Hi Pam, I love these weekly bog posts. You share so much great stuff, in such a focused manner and it seems very natural for you to do so. You mentioned at one point, that you set aside chunks of time to record several of these messages in one session, so I am curious, as a point of process…do you use a tele-prompter screen to keep you laser-focused and on-track with all your talk notes?
Pam Hendrickson says
Hey Linda, thanks for much for your kind remarks! Yes I record 2-4 blogs at one time (usually over 1/2 a day). I don’t like to record too far out so that the content is timely. I go back and forth between having a teleprompter and not. The upside is you stay exactly on point. The downside is it’s a hard skill to use a prompter and authentically connect with your audience (which is the most important outcome). When I don’t use a prompter, I do have the content laid out in a very detailed outline so I know all the points and have the steps well defined in advance. Then I just practice a couple of times and study and I’m good to go. I used to film these myself with an iphone (which is perfectly great way to do it) – now I have a video producer who does it but this is largely because we usually film 1-2 other things besides the blogs when we film (deeper training content for products, bonuses for our members, sales videos, etc.). Great question! P.S. You will notice some cuts – when it goes from wide screen to closer up – if I fumble a point this is a great way to “hide” it! 😉

Thanks Pam, for your generosity in sharing, not just great content but your process as well. My business partner and I really enjoyed the live event in San Diego and we are preparing to launch our fist online product in the next few weeks. The step by step approach in the MML Academy and all these other ways to connect to the wisdom of your team are making all the difference. We appreciate you!

Thanks Linda – we appreciate you, too! We enjoyed getting to know so many people in our community at the event! Keep us posted as to your product launch – and remember, marketing is a series of small course corrections so be sure to measure everything as you go so you can keep improving. Thanks again for your comments! 🙂
